our story

Since 2015, my life has been completely transformed by the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Before coming to faith, I lived far from God. I was a workaholic, struggled with gambling, and battled anger, loneliness, depression, and hopelessness. At one of the darkest moments of my life, while contemplating suicide, I sensed the Lord speaking to my heart: “You knew Me as a child.” Those words stopped me in my tracks and caused me to consider that God was reaching out to me. My wife, Cristy, and I began searching for a church, and we found a life-giving church that radically changed our lives. Through that church, we experienced the love, grace, and transforming power of Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. Because of what God has done in our lives, Cristy and I felt called to help others experience that same hope. In 2021, we planted Ignite Church with a mission to be a life-giving church for people who may be facing the same struggles we once faced. Our desire is to create a place where people can seek a real God who loves them unconditionally, know freedom, uncover purpose and serve others Ignite is a church that allows you to experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
